Privacy Policy
Estate Bid Finder respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the directory, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using this site you agree to the practices described below.
What we collect
When you browse the directory, our servers log standard request information including IP address, user agent, referring URL, and the pages you visit. This is used in aggregate to monitor site performance and detect abuse. When you fill out a Free Auction Alerts form or a Free Estate Sale Consultation request, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code you provide. We do not collect payment information; both services are free.
How we use your information
Auction-alert subscribers receive emails about new estate sales matching their ZIP code. Consultation requests are forwarded to a vetted local estate sale company in your metro. We do not sell your contact information to third parties for unrelated marketing. You can unsubscribe from auction alerts at any time using the link in any alert email, or by writing to privacy@estatebidfinder.example.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies for basic session management and may use a privacy-respecting analytics provider (such as Plausible or Fathom) to measure page-level traffic in aggregate. We do not use third-party advertising cookies for cross-site behavioral tracking.
Data retention
Auction-alert subscriptions are retained as long as you remain subscribed. Consultation requests are retained for 24 months for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your records at any time by writing to privacy@estatebidfinder.example. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
Your California and EU rights
Residents of California, the European Union, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at privacy@estatebidfinder.example to exercise these rights.
